Paralegal

I was born and raised in Colombia, where I completed my legal education and became an attorney in my home country. After moving to the United States, I set a long-term goal for myself: to pursue an LL.M. (Master of Laws) and become a licensed attorney here. While working toward that goal, I am proud to serve as a paralegal in the Criminal and Family Law departments of the firm.
For the past year and a half, I have assisted clients throughout Washington State with a wide range of matters, including DUI and criminal-traffic charges, assault, violations of protection orders, and other misdemeanor cases. In family law, I support clients navigating divorce, parenting plans, child support, and adoption proceedings. My role includes detailed case preparation, legal drafting, communication with courts and prosecutors, and providing bilingual support to ensure every client fully understands their rights and options.
Working here has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life. The team has truly become like family to me, and the multicultural environment has allowed me to grow, learn, and develop both personally and professionally. I am passionate about the work I do, and every day reinforces my commitment to becoming an attorney in the United States.
I bring dedication, empathy, and a strong work ethic to each case, and I am honored to help clients move through challenging legal situations with confidence and support.
