After, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration on Sociology and Business from the University of Texas at Dallas, I attended law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, where I earned my Juris Doctorate. After I graduated, I began working in Immigration law as a law clerk with the Law Office of Juan Reyes (now Reyes Blum, PLLC) in Houston, Texas, in 2022. After being admitted to the Texas State Bar in 2023, I began practicing as an Immigration Attorney with the same law firm. At the end of 2024, I was able to move to the Seattle area, and continue to practice Immigration law in Washington.
I practice law with what I consider to be a healthy balance of optimism and practicality. I look for the best possible outcome for each client and shoot for that outcome while also understanding the limits of the law and my client’s particular situation. My approach is one of consideration and devotion. I am conscious of how important their case is to my client, and I always devote all my skills and energy to each one. I got into the field of immigration law because I have always deeply believed that in a land settled by immigrants, all immigrants should be welcome. The granddaughter of Mexican immigrants, I understand that the majority of people in this nation would not be here without immigrants, and I firmly believe that everyone deserves a real chance to realize the American Dream.
When I am not at work, I enjoy baking, and crocheting in my living room with my dog, Bacon Pancake, on my lap and my cat, Sylvia, perched behind me on the couch. On Sundays, I sing in the choir at my church.
